Automate device registration

With staff opting to use their own devices, also known as bring-your-own-device or BYOD, it is vital any business data remains secure and the device adheres to corporate policies.

Microsoft Intune device management is a cloud-based service, in the enterprise mobility management (EMM) space, that enables you to manage and enrol Windows 10 devices (laptops and desktops), including mobiles, within a centralized Cloud console.

This is a component within the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS) suite which is subscribed on a per-user, per-month basis. Once configured, the Microsoft Windows devices will automatically enroll, however mobile devices will need to be enrolled by the users or with the designated assistance either onsite or remotely.

It is also a service that enables your workforce to be productive while keeping your corporate data protected. Intune integrates with Azure Active Directory for additional security capabilities and access control for compliance purposes.

Key features

  • Device Management of the mobile and Windows devices your workforce uses to access company data.
  • Ensure devices are encrypted – where devices support encryption
  • Ensure devices are compliant with company security requirements.
  • Remote wiping of devices if they are lost, stolen or an employee has left the business. This capability is available by default in existing Office 365 policies for mobile phones – Intune extends this to Windows and MacOS devices i.e. laptops and desktops.
  • Manage Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) if it is company policy to allow users to use their own devices to allow access company data i.e. Mobile phones. In this case Intune can be used to remove only company data from the device when the user leaves - depending on how that data is stored.
  • Maintain an automated asset register of enrolled devices within the Intune console

Managing mobile devices across clouds and business operations is more critical to enterprise success than ever before. Our device management solutions allow you to retain control and ensure security, even when your employees work from their own personal devices.
