Wavex has an integrated approach and a clear vision for corporate responsibility across the organisation. We believe that we have an obligation to our staff, customers, investors and the environment to operate our business sustainably.

For Wavex, it is about managing our business in a way that enhances the positive and minimises the negative economic, social and environmental impact of our activities and services.

In the community

For Wavex, CSR extends well beyond just writing a donation cheque to a charitable cause. We are a dedicated and responsible contributing member of society, seeking to build strong relationships with the local community.

Charitable giving and volunteerism are part of the company culture, and our staff are making a difference through local involvement such as volunteering – partnering with charities designed to make a difference to people’s lives.


Wavex recognises and understands the importance of protecting the environment in which we operate. We are fully committed to minimising the impact that running our business has on the environment and we encourage our clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same.

We encourage all our staff to consider the effect of their actions on natural resources.

Participation is both by individuals and as a company. Typical activities include:

  • Minimising the generation of waste and operating a recycling scheme;
  • Donating IT equipment to the British Heart Foundation; and
  • Promoting an employee Cycle to work scheme and greener transport options for client travel.

Charities we support

Providence Row:

Providence Row is a homelessness charity tackling the root causes of homelessness to help people get off, and stay off, the streets.

Show Racism the Red Card

Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism charity aiming to produce anti-racism educational resources, which harness the high profile of professional footballers, to combat racism.

CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably):

CALM is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK and the cause of 18 deaths every day.

Paying the Real Living Wage

We are proud to be part of the Living Wage movement as an accredited Living Wage Employer. This means that every member of staff in our organisation earns not just the minimum wage but the real Living Wage. The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, based on the cost of living in the UK.

Who is responsible for our CSR policy?

Responsibility for CSR performance rests with all Board of Directors and staff throughout the firm. This policy is designed to guide and inform the decisions of everyone at Wavex.

Responsibility for the delivery of our CSR commitments is headed by the Board of Directors and Human Resources who involve and engage with staff across the firm on CSR activities.

This policy is an integral part of our core business strategy and is reviewed regularly and updated as necessary.
