Company Overview

Wavex Technology originates from Soho where we first began our journey as a managed IT services provider in London, in 1998.

At Wavex, we are proud of our constitutional ethos of providing excellence in everything we do. Our staff are employed not only for their knowledge and experience, but also because of their values. It’s important to us that when we interview new candidates, they align with our company culture and have the right credentials. Our approach to each project sets us apart from the rest, because we genuinely care about our clients’ experience, in addition to providing robust IT services.

Gavin Russell

CEO


Gavin founded Wavex in 1998 after gaining valuable insights into delivering global IT support and networking services from organisations like AT&T and IBM Global Services. Gavin’s strategy is to hire excellent staff as well as to utilise his background and professional qualifications in software architecture (HND + BSC Hons), to create unique and market leading technologies to complement and enhance the traditional Microsoft solutions. With the cost of enterprise software too expensive for most organisations, Wavex has been able to bring innovative solutions in security, self-service, and analytics, to companies of all sizes so they may benefit from an enterprise-grade managed service solution. Today, Wavex is proud to have won hundreds of awards and accolades over its 20+ years for delivering on this strategy.


Savva Flouri

Finance Director


Savva, the Finance Director at Wavex, is ACCA qualified with a BA degree in Accounting. Over the years, he has supported various companies to raise external investment and successfully integrate acquired companies while effectively managing finance functions through periods of change. Savva has several years of experience in the IT manged services industry, most recently supporting a business with fund raising, an acquisition and post-acquisition integration.

With his enthusiasm for staff development and building a collaborative culture, at Wavex, Savva is responsible for driving excellence across the business and, in collaboration with the core management team he works on strategy and growth plans.


Jonathan Gill

Head of Technology


Jonathan is an experienced IT professional working in the managed service provider space for over 10 years. Jonathan has overseen the evolution of customers IT services through virtualization, cloud migrations and now through modern digital transformations. Jonathan brings a wealth of experience providing solutions which focus on improving user experience with the enhanced collaboration and productivity that modern solutions offer whilst ensuring companies remain secure and compliant with the latest security frameworks. At Wavex Jonathan oversees the professional services team whilst ensuring that Wavex is leveraging the latest technologies to empower its customers. Jonathan helps organisations overcome their challenges such as hybrid working, heightened security risks, rapid growth and increased global presence by using technology and innovative solutions to achieve their wider business goals.


Sohail Razaq

Account Management Team Manager


Sohail has over 15 years of experience in account management covering both public and private sector. During his career Sohail has built long term relationships with customers and enjoys working with both large and small organisations to deliver high level of customer service. At Wavex, Sohail is responsible for the account management team to ensure Wavex’s customers are receiving high levels of engagement and that each customer has an IT roadmap which is aligned to the customers business strategy whilst ensuring that any risks and issues are identified and communicated to customers.


Ryan Varney

Project Manager


Ryan started his career on an IT service desk and brings 10 years of IT managed service provider experience to the projects team, along with accreditations in PRINCE2, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Teams. During his career Ryan has worked on a range of projects including both cloud and local infrastructure projects, onboarding clients into support and completing security audits such as Cyber Essentials. At Wavex, Ryan is responsible for the delivery of projects for Wavex clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, any risks and issues are identified and communicated with stakeholders and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.


Ryan Smith

Service Desk Team Lead


Ryan, the Service Desk Team Lead at Wavex joined in 2016 as a 1st Line Support Engineer. During his time at Wavex he has progressed through the levels of support (1st – 3rd line) and also worked within the Professional Services Team as a Delivery Engineer to deliver projects on time and in budget to Wavex’s customers. With a Service-Oriented mindset, Ryan is keen to ensure Wavex’s support offering is always second to none, by using his experience in both customer service and technology to drive the Service Desk to deliver excellent support to our clients.


Brigitte Braham

People Strategy


Brigitte joined Wavex in 2006. Today, as the Senior HR Business Partner, she collaborates with the executive team in the development and execution of  People Strategy, focusing on excellence, professionalism and driving continuous improvement across people related processes. She acts as an advisory on HR compliance, best practice and managing organisational change. Brigitte is instrumental in creating a nurturing environment, where people can thrive and feel empowered to bring their best selves to work every day. She is dedicated to the Company’s corporate social responsibility commitments, achieving the Living Wage Employer Accreditation for the business. Brigitte has also set up and now chairs the Charity and Staff Volunteering Programme at Wavex. She holds a BA degree, CIPD and Mental Health First Aid professional qualifications.
