Gavin Russell, CEO
Gavin is the founder of Wavex and the Company CEO. Having a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and a background in software development, he has built the business into a leading IT support provider. In doing so, the firm has won a number of notable industry awards; Growing Business Award, Top 100 Companies to Work For, European IT Excellence Award and Outstanding Company Award to name a few.
He has led the development of many of the systems and methodologies that are used by Wavex and their clients today, including the latest service product, Apex®. In his role as the CEO and the member of the Executive Management Team, he focuses on the strategic development and growth of the business.
John Krumins, Chairman
John joined the Wavex Board in 2014 as the Company Chairman. With an MBA from Harvard Business School, John brings over 20 years’ experience in international advisory, strategic, global financial markets and complex project management. John is also a Non-Executive Director of Hogg Robinson Group Plc, a panel member of the Competition and Markets Authority, and has previously worked within the investment banking sector, having held senior corporate finance and M&A positions at Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Société Générale.
Andrea Haywood, Finance and Commercial Director
Andrea joined Wavex in 2015 as Finance Director and Company Secretary. She is a CIMA qualified accountant and holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering. Andrea is responsible for driving excellence and value from internal support functions and focuses on working with the board on their strategy and growth plans. Her background is in IT services and engineering consulting, more recently focusing on high growth SMEs.
Gerard O'Donoghue, Head of Managed Services
ITIL and MCPS qualified, Gerard has been part of the Wavex team since 2002. He joined the business as a service desk engineer and has developed his career in Wavex to the position of Head of Managed Services. Today, he is responsible for the delivery of Technical Services to the Wavex customer base and overseeing its quality in both, professional and support services. A member of the Management Team, Gerard defines and drives the operation’s strategy as well as its delivery. He is accountable for championing best practice, driving performance excellence and constant improvements in the quality of services delivered by Wavex to its clients.
