Viruses Worms and Spam
At times legitimate emails can be flagged as SPAM. There are many reasons for this:-
- Company has incorrectly setup their email servers - allowing hackers to send out SPAM from their email server.
- They send out allot of mailing lists, causing them to become blacklisted with particular authorities.
- The email contains certain keywords often used in SPAM mailings.
- The senders email address is on a black list.
- The senders email domain (the bit after the @ of the email address) is on a black list.
So you can see why the message is flagged as SPAM Wavex has built a SPAM analysis program.
Usage Double click on the email that has been flagged as SPAM, it is probably in your Junk E-mail folder (if you went through the SVX setup instructions).
Click the View menu option, then Options (see picture below).
Up will pop the options screen.

Right click on the Internet headers box (the area which contains all the text) and choose Select All. Now that all the text is highlighted, right click again and choose Copy.
