If you are a bright, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with others and has a positive outlook then the Wavex culture will suit you:
-
Excellent Training / Development opportunities
Wavex spends a considerable amount of time and money encouraging staff to achieve their potential through courses, training and qualifications (MCSE, CCNA, MCP etc.). Wavex uses a unique method of measuring staff skills and preferred career direction to ensure you have a clear direction in your chosen field. This removes the potentially subjective nature of appraisals and reviews.
Very few people leave Wavex, so we must be doing something right!
As a Microsoft Gold partner and as a rapidly growing IT provider with a range of customers, there are many opportunities to work with emerging technologies in a variety of contexts from simple server setups to global highly-available messaging infrastructure. We’ve done it all.
Wavex has been going since 1998 and is one of the fastest growing IT services provider in the UK (see Fast Track 50 awards winning 2006 and winning 2007), Deloitte Tech Track 100 and in the top 500 fastest growing IT services companies in EMEA.
-
Positive working environment
Gavin Russell, one of Wavex’s co-founders, began his career in IT Support and was determined to prevent Wavex becoming a stereotypical, bland IT environment by creating a fun, innovative, working environment while encouraging a positive, outgoing working culture. This has been achieved - in part - by hiring talented, outgoing people. But it helps to have a fridge full of beer & wine, a pool table, football-table and games consoles in the chill-out area! At Wavex, we believe that work can be fun.
-
Excellent and numerous bonus opportunities
Many Wavex engineers receive a monthly uncapped bonus based on the quality of their work. This enables engineers to receive direct remuneration for their hard work and in many cases can add to up to 10% of their gross salary. Staff working in other departments also receive similarly structured, regular bonuses based on their performance.
