Although unlikely, we anticipate that some people will have difficulties getting NETi to function. Here is a list of things to check. If all the below check are successful then the application will work.

View list of recent fixes/updates

NETi requires various files to function. To obtain the version of a file, find it using explorer then right click the icon, choose properties then click on the version tab, now look for the Product Version item in the list box and you will see the version.

System files

The following system files can be found in the system directory for Windows 95/98 machines or system32 directory for NT4/2000 machines. (The system directory is off the main windows directory)

ActiveX Agent Files

To ensure these components are correctly registered, run an MS-DOS prompt, type

CD %windir%\system (Windows 95/98)
or
CD %windir%\system32 (Windows NT/2000)
then type
regsvr32 csping32.ocx
regsvr32 cswsk32.ocx
You should see that both files are correctly registered, if not, check the above system file versions.

ActiveX Console Files

To ensure these components are correctly registered, enter an MS-DOS prompt, type

You should see that both files are correctly registered, if not, check the above system file versions.
