On Thursday, May 4th, 2000 the 'Love bug' virus first surfaced. It left a trail of destruction in its wake.

Wavex wrote the first fix for the bug, and was featured in the London Metro newspaper on the 5th of May.

Since then, we have produced various virus fixes. We do this for our customers, because many anti-virus solutions are not ready for new viruses.

To prevent our customers falling prey to further 'Love bug's', Wavex has written an intelligent virus checker which never needs updating, as it scans through the code of .vbs style files, and works out if the code could be potentially harmful. Download it here
