Wavex is currently privately held between the three directors of the company, Peter Sweetbaum, Gavin Russell and Mark Williams. Wavex has been trading since 1998 as an outsourced support services business while the applications and systems the company utilizes today have been developed.
Wavex acquired a smaller IT support provider in 2002. Since the acquisition Wavex has undergone significant growth (50% growth in revenue per quarter).
Wavex currently supports its customers across the UK and in Europe. Wavex have a number of joint ventures in the UK to provide comprehensive remote and on site support to customers all over the country. In addition, Wavex has a joint venture with other providers in EMEA to support clients operating out of the UK.
