Radiator PR is a young growing agency specializing in youth lifestyle brands. With 15 employees it can claim the likes of Nike, Merrell Footwear, EA Sports and the Association of Surfing Professionals as its clients. In the autumn of 2002, company growth found them moving to new offices in London 's Bloomsbury . Daniela Karsten, Operations Director for Radiator PR takes up the story: "We moved offices and our needs changed. Our previous supplier was perfectly okay up to a point, but we needed someone now who could support our growth." Radiator's supplier up until then had been a local company who were not geared up for Radiator's increasing reliance on technology and, in particular, their need for swift resolution of any problems. Daniela again: "We didn't feel we were a priority. To be fair, they were never set up to provide what we needed - they didn't have the software to handle our requirements, Wavex does." Daniela admits that she doesn't really need to know how Wavex's technology works but is impressed by the distinct lack of problems she has encountered. "I just need to know my PCs and my network is going to work fully and effectively and that, if it breaks, it gets fixed quickly by professional people. That's what happens with Wavex. "We are incredibly reliant on our systems - we just can't afford to have them down for any length of time." Whilst admitting to be uninterested in how Wavex keeps Radiator sailing along so smoothly, Daniela confesses that the technical proficiency of the Wavex people counts for a lot. "You can tell when someone knows what they are talking about and aren't trying to pull the wool over your eyes. I could see that the systems that Wavex have developed provide them with an incredible amount of information. I'm extremely happy with the way any glitches have been dealt with and find it particularly comforting to know that viruses are dealt with almost before I am aware they exist.
